What would happen if you liked your body?
How much time have you spend worrying what your body looks like?
For anyone with a body
You hear a lot of people talking about body positivity these days, and sure, you agree with them theoretically. But feeling positively about your own body?! Woah. Perhaps you have an obscure to-do list in the back of your mind: “Figure out body image issues” or “Stop hating on myself in the mirror,” but you’ve never had much luck getting there on your own. Perhaps you have some questions about your eating habits like, “Why am I always thinking about food?” or “Is it okay that I ate those cookies?”
You don’t have to figure this stuff out on your own. If you’re feeling ready to try something radical, like true body acceptance, reach out.
Do any of these resonate with you?
You're a badass warrior by day and body worrier by night
You analyze your reflection and all photos for your "problem areas"
You have tried new diets, wellness initiatives, and cleanses with the hope of losing weight
You feel tired of trying things to lose weight just to gain it back again
You sometimes feel scared that you're eating "wrong" and are often preoccupied by food
You don't like your body but as an empowered feminist you feel like you're supposed to love it, so you pretend and suffer secretly
The idea of loving or even accepting your body as is seems impossible
You're curious to explore health from a weight-neutral perspective
You feel like you don't have time to deal with food and body stuff because you're too busy raising kids, fighting climate change, ending racialized violence, electing progressive leaders, making art, running a business, building community... but a part of you wishes something could change...
Wouldn't it be great to...
Wake up in the morning, throw on some clothes, wink at yourself in the mirror and then focus on all the things you truly care about? Like raising kids, making art, slowing climate change, defeating white supremacy and capitalism, hanging out with your friends, doing your job, tending your garden... instead of obsessing about some rolls on your body? Or worrying about how much you've eaten?
Hey, I'm Talia.
I'm a body liberation coach. I help people build trust with their bodies so they can free up the time and mental energy that goes towards struggling with negative body image and challenging food relationships. I want people to get to live their full lives.
I used to spend time everyday frowning at my reflection, wishing I looked smaller, and trying to control my food and exercise to make that happen. It took a lot of my focus. I thought this was an issue I'd have to shoulder the rest of my life, but that turned out not to be true.
If you've been struggling with food and body image-- it's not your fault! We've been given very few tools for dealing with it. Fortunately, I've spent the last 5+ years collecting beautiful tools and I want to share them with you.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"This is absolutely worth the investment, it is a manageable amount of time, and the impact is immense!"

IS COACHING THERAPY?
While emotions are welcome in coaching, coaching is not therapy. Coaching focuses primarily on the present and desired future, and less on the past. I refer clients to other professionals for issues that are more suited to a therapeutic relationship.
HOW DO COACHING SESSIONS WORK?
Sessions take place by phone and last between 45-60 minutes each. I generally recommend signing up for twice/month, though some opt for more or less often.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST
My current rate is a sliding scale $100-$200 per session. (See the intro package for a special deal.)
Recommended sliding scale guidelines:
$100/session: making ends meet
$150/session: financially stable/will have inheritance
$200/session: financially thriving/have inheritance
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is for anyone (all sizes, all genders, all ages) who has struggled with body image and/or eating, and would like to focus their energy elsewhere.
Note: this is not recommended for those with an active acute eating disorder.
DO YOU ALSO DO LIFE COACHING?
Yes! While most of my clients are focusing on body liberation, I always save a few client slots for those interested in more traditional life coaching: career transitions, finding romantic partnership, making friends, building a creative practice, and finding purpose.
