About the Event

Body Love and Love for Every Body: a 4-part online series on caring for ourselves and staying connected

Open to all.

With Talia Cooper and Alison Cohen

This can feel like a hard time to care for our hearts and bodies. Some people may be feeling anxiety around food, eating, exercise and health in general. And yet our bodies are also our strongest resource: they are what we have to meet this moment, to show up for ourselves and for each other. This mini-series will create an intimate online community to provide support for each other in navigating these times.

This 1 hour session will include:

  • Tea Time Check-in
  • Body Love Teaching
  • Guided Visualization and Meditation
  • Collective Wisdom on Supporting our Communities
  • Virtual Dance time
  • Intention Setting

Cost: $0-$50 sliding scale

50% of funds will be redistributed to mutual aid efforts.

Timing: Friday March 27th 12pm-1pm PT. If there is enough interest we will turn it into a series.

Limited to 10 participants.

With Talia Cooper & Alison Cohen

Talia Cooper is a body liberation coach, social change activist & educator, and singer-songwriter. Talia believes that all people are inherently wise and creative, and that loving ourselves is our birthright. As a certified life coach, Talia supports people who want to learn to accept their bodies and free up more time and energy to pursue their dreams. She loves big earrings, good fiction, dancing to pop music, the radical left revolution, baking cookies, and hiking.

Alison Cohen is an educator and certified mindfulness instructor committed to supporting those in helping and caretaking roles—social service professionals, teachers, clinicians, parents and givers of all kinds. She offers mindfulness-based coaching and courses that emphasize the power of courage and connection in the journey from surviving on the edge of burn out to thriving. Alison is also obsessed with the art-science-beauty of teaching and facilitation. She currently coaches public school educators and meditation teachers in training. Alison values any and all opportunities to integrate community-building, self-awareness development, social justice, and joy. If you’re not sure where to find her, check the dance floor.
