What is the Body Love Open Mic?
It's an open mic with a theme! The theme is bodies and body liberation.
With so many messages coming at us every day saying our bodies are not good enough, we can choose to respond by actively seeking out counter messaging. The goal of the Body Love Open Mic is to encourage the truth inside us that says “actually, your body is worthy, radiant, and inherently valuable just as it is."
What Body Love Art includes:
- Art that’s about how inherently awesome our bodies are.
- It could be explicitly what you love about your body or what your body can do, or it might be more subtle.
